Learning
Our collection of oral history interviews, images and archival material captures the voices of a diverse Irish community in London and there is much to learn about their individual stories, as well as their collective struggles and achievements.
Spanning 5 decades, the archive allows us explore the many perspectives associated with being part of the Irish community in London, the effect of this on St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, as well as the ways in which we celebrate and showcase being Irish in the city today.
There are many routes to learning more about these Irish Voices, and we have learning tools for individuals, school and community groups as well as ways to contribute to the project.
