A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the first Irish in Britain Volunteer awards a resounding success!
Community members and sponsors from across Britain arrived at the Embassy of Ireland on 4 June to honour volunteers in their community and to see a few outstanding volunteers receive the recognition they truly deserve.

The volunteer awards night was created as a chance to recognise the tireless efforts of volunteers who make the work of Irish in Britain members possible, and to shine a spotlight on a few volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their service to their community.
This event would not have been possible without the huge outpouring of support from the whole community and Irish in Britain would like to thank all the nominators and volunteers who participated.
Special thanks to The Ambassador of Ireland Mr. Adrian O’Neill and Mrs. Aisling O’Neill for hosting the awards at the Embassy of Ireland. A huge thanks as well to the embassy staff for helping to make it a very special evening and ensuring that all the guests had a wonderful time.
