London Parade and Festival
Irish in Britain will be be joining the more than 50,000 people who are expected at this year's parade and festival, hosted by the mayor of London. Come and say hello at our stall in Trafalgar Square!
The parade goes from Piccadilly to Whitehall, and the festival in Trafalgar Square is from 12noon to 6pm showcasing arts, music, culture and food.
Alongside the main stage, International Chef of the Year 2019, Anna Haugh will be running food demos. There’ll also be children’s workshops so come along and join in the fun.
Irish Drag Queen and activist Panti Bliss will be grand marshal of this year's parade.

Following on from St. Brigid’s and St. Patrick’s Day festivities, Irish Film and TV UK presents a programme of films celebrating the strength and diversity of Irish cinema.
IFTUK will be launching a free to screen programme of Irish films from the IFTUK App. This will be led by Chiara Viale’s THE NEW MUSIC and Sam Ulemann’s THE EDGE OF CHAOS plus Irish Shorts.
Jersey Irish Society
This years Jersey Irish Society Black Tie Ball shall be at the Royal Yacht, St Helier, with local talented dancers from Cannon O’Rafferty School of Irish Dance and Sean-nós dancer and current World Champion Gearóid Ó Droighneáin flying into the Island to enthral our guests with their talents and the 'Craic of Don’, keeping those dancing shoes tapping with some wonderful live music.
