SIFA Fireside was formed in 2007 through the merger of two well established Birmingham charities; SIFA (Supporting Independence from Alcohol) set up in 1982 and the Fireside Charity (1983).
In September 2011, thanks to a £400,000 grant from the Social Enterprise Investment Fund, we were able to acquire an old printing factory in Allcock St, Digbeth on a 25 year lease and renovate it to our specifications.
