County Galway – Contae na Gaillimhe

Critical care nurse Orla Hillary represents Galway and reminiscences about the hustle and bustle of Shop Street.

Orla is a nurse working in critical care, originally from Galway city. She is one of over 13,000 Irish citizens working in the NHS.

Taking us on a virtual tour of Galway city’s Shop Street, Orla recalls the buskers, hot chocolates and making it through the crowds to Spanish Arch overlooking Galway bay. 

We hope she can return as soon as it is safe to do so!
