Caroline is third–generation Irish and lives in Coventry. She is a solicitor and a trustee of Birmingham Irish Association. Alongside Caoilfhionn Gallagher and Mary–Rachel McCabe, Caroline was part of the legal team working pro–bono on the successful Keane family campaign to win the right to have an untranslated Irish phrase on their mother Margaret’s gravestone.
Caroline highlights the great community work in Birmingham and the West Midlands since the pandemic started, including digital inclusion projects and local GA clubs teaming up with Birmingham Irish Association to supply food banks.
We hope Caroline will be able to travel back to Mayo when it is safe to do so and enjoy its stunning landscape – from its soft and craggy boglands to its tall majestic hills.
Go raibh maith agat, a Chearúilín!
